Apple’s iPhone already comes with a number of sensors such as GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity light sensor, ambient light sensor and digital compass that enhance user experience.

So what should we expect in the future iPhones? The New York Times' Nick Bilton spoke with Benedetto Vigna, General Manager of the MEMS division of STMicroelectronics, a company that creates sensors for mobile devices to find out the answer to that question.

According to Benedetto Vigna, we should expect the following types of sensors in mobile devices in the future:

Altimeter sensors that would be able to detect your elevation. Vigna explains how the altimeter sensors could be used: “These sensors will tell people what floor they are on in a building, or could be used to more precisely determine where you are in relation to your friends on a location-based service.”
Heart monitors to keep tab of your health.
Sensors to detect perspiration.
Sensors could be used to monitor your excitement level and even mood. He explains that sensors that can detect mood and excitement will usher in an era of video games that will factor in emotion during gameplay.
More microphones, and temperature and humidity sensors to better determine their location and surroundings.
Some companies are working on sensors for security and privacy on mobile phones. According to him, one way to do this is to build software that detects how you hold and interact with the device — almost like a motion fingerprint. After you use a new phone for a short period of time, it will start to learn your patterns and automatically lock or unlock the phone accordingly. This could be used for more secure banking too.

Mr Vigna explains:

”Sensors will be everywhere in the next few years and will be able to help people become more conscious of the environment and our own health.”

All of us have our own choice and preferences. So, if we talk about even a small group, we can find a large variety of electronic gadgets. Similar is the case with our mobile phones. Many a times I feel too difficult to sync all the phones with my system. This makes very difficult to transfer the files and folders. And it is very difficult to install a software every time for the synchronization of a new device. Facing all these problems, I need a common solution to all of them. And while surfing, I found Double Twist to be the best possible solution I could manage free of cost.

As shown, there are few other paid applications available to make the utility more beneficial. You can select the items available in the column at the left. This is one of the best application for android users as you can access the Android Market with the utility. The Music Store will take you to the Amazon MP3. Also the Podcast Search in available. You must be eager to avail all these facilities in just one application.

Then all the music, photos and videos present in your system will be synced by the freeware automatically as shown in the snapshot above. It also acts as the player and viewer for all the files. It can be used to upload the files to flickr and youtube. There is just a little problem that it takes a lot of time in installation so that all the settings all installed. Also, when you are using it for the first time, your system might work a bit slower due to the synchronization of all the files.

The snapshot above displays how to synchronize your device. You have to simply select your device and click on Sync at the right bottom corner. Your device will be synchronized in few minutes. Then you can easily access all the files like photos etc. Similarly, you can synchronize other devices that to at the same time.
Other then these there is the option for Playlist Setup. You can either import from the iTunes or window Media Player. Also, you can Create a new playlist. I think the list of applications provide by the utility makes it very useful ad beneficial.
The freeware has been tested on windows 7 and it also compatible with the other versions also. It has been designed to work with Mac also.

Problems reported after upgrading iOS 4.3.3 :-

iPhone 4 says it connects to the Wi-Fi network, but the Wi-Fi icon never appears

Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting and reconnecting on its own

Can no longer use Wi-Fi at all unless within close proximity to the router

Can't connect to Wi-Fi at all on device running 4.3.3, but devices running 4.3.1 have no trouble on same network

Wi-Fi won't work, and resetting network settings doesn't fix

Wi-Fi shows signal, but device can't connect to the Internet

Basic Troubleshooting:

Launch Settings app

Tap Wi-Fi

Turn Wi-Fi toggle off and then on again

If this doesn't work then try to renew IP address, which may be required if you are using a larger wireless network.

Renew IP Address:

Launch Settings app

Tap on the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list

Scroll down and tap on the Renew Lease button

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, try establishing a fresh connection with the Wi-Fi network by using the Forget This Network option. Please note that this will clear your current Wi-Fi network settings, including saved Wi-Fi passwords.

Forget This Network:

Launch Settings app

Tap on the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list

Tap on the Forget This Network button

You will be prompted with a message that your iOS device will stop automatically joining this network. Tap on the Forget button.

Go back to the list of Wi-Fi networks, try to locate and join the Wi-Fi network again.

If this doesn’t help try restarting your iOS device.

Restart iOS Device:

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until "slide to power off" slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iOS device will turn off after a few moments.

Turn iOS device on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

If restarting your iOS device doesn’t resolve the problem then reset all network settings. Please note that this will clear your current cellular and Wi-Fi network settings, including saved networks, Wi-Fi passwords, and VPN settings.

Reset Network Settings:

Launch Settings app

Tap General

Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap on Reset

Tap Reset Network Settings

When the device restarts, try to locate and join the Wi-Fi network again.

The iPad keyboard behaves and is laid out differently than the iPhone keyboard. One crucial difference is the way in which the Symbols key (.?123) behaves. On the iPhone, all you have to do is tap on the Symbols key, select a symbol you want to type, and the iPhone’s keyboard will automatically snap back into the standard QWERTY layout. The iPad is different here, since it takes a manual tap on the Symbols key to return to QWERTY mode after (except in the case of an apostrophe).
However, as Macgasm pointed out a year ago, holding down on the comma or period keys will allow you to type an apostrophe or quotation mark, respectively, without ever having to leave the QWERTY layout. No Symbols key needed. If you want to be even faster, you can simply swipe up on comma or period to achieve the same result.
I love this little trick and would likely have never discovered it on my own, so a big thanks to Macgasm for pointing it out.

What is Gevey Sim?
Gevey Sim, a sim created by hacker team of China, which works as a hardware based unlock(unlike ultrasn0w a software based hack) on iphone 4 baseband 1.59.00, 2.10.04 & 3.10.01.

How it works?
It works on the basis of IMSI(INTERNATIONAL MOBILE SUBSCRIBER IDENTITY) hack by tricking TMSI(TEMPORARY MOBILE SUBSCRIBER IDENTITY(.

What is an IMSI?
IMSI is a unique number containing MCC(MOBILE COUNTRY CODE) & MNC(MOBILE NETWORK CODE) that corresponds to your account in the mobile carrier's database.

(429 is MCC for Nepal, 02 is MNC for Ncell and rest part is Mobile number)

What is TMSI ?
TMSI is a 4 byte code which identifies Iphone before IMSI is sent and proceeded.

What is the relation of TMSI to Iphone & how it works?
Before apple use to only check IMSI through Iphone baseband versions to use the carrier/network. As apple found IMSI recognization process was unlocked by ultrasn0w it has introduced TMSI identifying procedure to make tough & almost impossible for ultrasn0w work to in it.

Then, how did Gevey Sim Managed to overcome TMSI procedure to unlock Iphone-4?
As we know, although any brand mobile is locked to any carrier of any country, it will still be able to dail 112(emergency call mode number) with Sim and also without sim.Gevey Sim tricks Iphone by using same number to get TMSI for your connection.Gevey sim is made in such a way that it's interposer rapidy cyle a list of IMSI to find an acceptable MCC/MNC combination which cheats your carrier and make it think like IPHONE 4 is factory unlocked.

How to Unlock Iphone 4 with Gevey Sim?
As Gevey Sim is a hardware based hack so it doesnot needs jailbreaking process can be done without any pc skills.Easy Steps are already inside Gevey Sim's User Guide, but still if you lost it here are steps for you.
Step 1: Chop a small part of your sim card to fit in gevey sim card.Make it look like.

Step 2: Fit the cutted sim with the gevey Sim and put it on the metal sim tray.
Step 3: Turn off your iphone and insert your Simcard and Gevey Sim together.
Step 4: Turn on your iphone and wait for the Sim welcome menu to show and then select "accept"
Step 5: At the beginning a "no service" message will show on your IPHONE, don't do anything and wait until you see one signal bar appears on the top left corner.
Step 6: After you see the signal bar dial "112" and hang up within 2 seconds.
Step 7: Turn on the Airplane mode(Iphone Homescreen-Settings) and then turn off right away. Your iphone will show "Sim Failure" and then "No sim card Installed"
Step 8: Until the "NO SIM CARD INSTALLED" message shows up turn on the Airplane Mode again and turn it off right away again. As the "Sim Failure" shows up wait for few seconds.Network signal will show up after few seconds.

Note:- If still you have no networks signal follow the procedure from Step 3.To use 3g network Data roaming option must be on from the network menu.

As at current gevey sim is the only unlock beside the factory unlock(Buying a unlocked iphone or buying an unlock through www.cutyoursim.com).To unlock through ultrasn0w your iphone 4 must have bb 1.59.00 either you need to save it or downgrade to it(which isn't impossible but almost not possible).So, you may problems like "No service" and no network signals problem.

What are the problems regarding GEVEY SIM and where should I be aware?

Gevey Sim is just like a tethered jailbreak you do to your iphone which requires to tethered it with every reboot. You should not switch off your iphone or let the battery be fully down.If you did so you need to restart the procedure as above(start from step-3).
Problems like "No service" are usually seen in networks having low signals.So if you are in such networks it is better not to buy Gevey Sim until it's an emergency.
You must dial and check if "112" works or not before paying for a Gevey Sim.
SIM interposer will not harm your iPhone hardware but it can get your account banned from your network provider if they knew that you have spoofed your IMSI and ICCID. Its only in China that GSM companies know this loophole but still don't bother to close it, since it's product of china.

Then, what is the solution for "No Service" Problem?

If you get such problems after few hours or minutes your iphone was having signals through Gevey sim then see the carrier option under iphone iphone homescreen-settings.

If Carrier Option(under homescreen-settings) is missing follow the procedures as in above(from Step 3).
If carrier option is still there, try switching airplane off and on if it didn't work then tap on carrier option and let the carriers be loaded(searching will be seen on screen).Then select the corresponding carrier you are using from the list.If it doesnot solve your problem then follow above procedures(from step 3) again.Still if you see same problem then you got a cheap Gevey sim please return it and buy a more expensive one.
